
Coffee Stroopwafel Sundae

This sundae was inspired by our FIRST ever specialty treat served in store way back in 2020 - the stroopwafel & coffee combo.
Stroopwafels are a quintessential Dutch treat made from two thin waffle cookies pressed together with warm, gooey caramel. At Banter, it starts with our homemade waffle batter, freshly baked to perfection before layering with our homemade caramel that sets into the perfect chewy-crisp centre. We slice these up and serve them alongside two small scoops of our Cold Brew Coffee ice cream, topped with additional waffle chunks, a caramel sauce drizzle, whipped cream & a pinch of flaky sea salt.
Bold, sweet & toasty - a salted caramel latte, Banter style.
INGREDIENTS
Cold Brew Coffee (ice cream base) - Phil and Sebastian coffee beans, cream, skim milk powder, milk, sugar, egg, and (less than 2% of): locust bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan
Caramel - water, sugar, corn syrup, milk chocolate, white chocolate, butter, sea salt and cream
Waffle - butter, egg whites, cream, vanilla flavour, almond flavour, salt, sugar and flour
Whipped cream - heavy cream and icing sugar
