MAKING REMARKABLE ICE CREAM

Ice cream acts as a blank canvas for creativity, and our flavour ideas are endless. That said, making ice cream isn’t easy… We need to anticipate how our cookies are going to stay soft when frozen, how to keep a fruity swirl from being icy, and how to make a caramel sauce that’s gooey and smooth.

We’re always trying new things in the kitchen; we’re constantly experimenting with new methods to create the perfect texture, and pairing unique ingredients to invent thoughtful flavours.

SCOOPING HAPPINESS

Ice cream is for everyone! We love to see friends and strangers connect over a cone. Next time you're in a lineup at one of our shops, take a minute and introduce yourself to someone next to you. If you're lined up for ice cream, you have at least one thing in common!

Creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere starts with having strong relationships within our team. Our ‘work friends’ often end up being our ‘friends friends’. When the team is tight-knit, it makes for a happier vibe all-round, and that just spills over into making your visit even better. From the moment you step through our doors, ‘til your final lick, our aim is to bring joy to your day. We hope that Banter is a gathering place where everyone feels welcome and seen.

LOCAL LICKS

Each flavour we create has a story, and many of them reflect the abundance of the Fraser Valley and the farmers and artisans who inspire us. Creating new flavours each month pushes us to seek out different ingredients and find new people to collaborate with. There’s a good chance your favourite flavour has ingredients sourced not far from where you’re eating it.
